AA new A321 and 777 interiors

I’d actually seen this video a couple of months ago, but thought I’d post it here after it was bought back to my attention.

I find it surprising that there is so much negativity in the comments section, I for one love the new look.

So it’s not of “Asian carrier standard”, but then very few airlines are – and it still looks far better than its American peers.

I just don’t understand how some people can be so hostile towards an airline trying to innovate itself?

It’s funny, because the airlines’ respective reputations would seem to suggest that the opposite would be the case.

I totally agree with you that the Emirates service is shoddy at best.
Unfortunately the vast majority of people are crowd followers… Emirates introduces wider screens at the same time a passenger has one bad experience with AA and suddenly AA’s crap and Emirates is great.

Having said that, I think people are slowly starting to realise Emirates isn’t quite the airline its hyped up to be.

The AA B757 has a somewhat tired interior (and exterior), I agree, but I found the food and service on AA superb. Attentive, warm and friendly, the cabin staff couldn’t seem to do enough for us.
In contrast, after flying extensively with Emirates this summer, cabins were cramped (B777 300ER was particularly shocking and felt like the cabin of a holiday charter airline) and service was shoddy at best.
It’s funny, because the airlines’ respective reputations would seem to suggest that the opposite would be the case.
Congratulations, AA and room for considerable improvement, Emirates!

Anyone who has travelled on an AA B757 recently will be thankful for the new interior. I quite like it.
