if you look at a new thread, interesting aircraft on ebay, one of the aircraft on there is a DH2, and in the advert there are photos of the dash board.

This is my first post here so hello to you all!

F4MPHIXER – If I had to put my last ££ on it, I’d say the photo posted by Olliehilmes is XP280, the Army Historic Flight Beaver based at Middle Wallop. I’ve been in it a couple of times, and it’s identical to the picture. I may have a photo of the panel myself if you like? I certainly have a photo of the cockpit of the Beaver at Coventry if that’s any help to you? I don’t know how to post photos on here so I’d have to e-mail it to you… Let me know if that would be of any use.

Strange as it might seem, you could try here:

wow! hardly “standard”
never seen a deca type system in any Beaver I have flown, a rudimenty moving map! ( although the map moved literally) best I ever had was an ADF, and a DG ( poor man’s RMI)
Quite elaborate for a Beaver, none the less.
With regards to panels there is almost no constant to a Beaver, but less is usually the norm.

Thanks for all the help. The dhc-2 site is a ‘busy’ site to say the least. I think Middle Wallop could hold the answer.

Hi,
Just go to
www.dhc-2.com
You should find what you are looking for there, almost every Beaver ever built is documented.
Good luck.

Second the suggestion of Middle Wallop. Two Beavers on display and If you ask, all the publications you could dream of in the archive.

I think chatting to some of the MAM guys who frequent here should be able to get you
some details of the former U.S ARMY Beaver at Coventry. I should imagine instrument layout differs little.
