AAM-4 vs AIM-120

Hey all, I’ve been looking for information on Japan’s AAM-4 missile for a while, specifically range (and cost) of the missile, but all I ever seem to come up with are the physical dimentions of the missile itself, and not much else.

How does this missile stack up against other missiles such as the AIM-120 or R-77? Since it looks like almost a clone of the AIM-120, I think it would be better to compare it to that missile. Would it be comparable to an AIM-120A, or is it advanced enough to be comparable to lets say, an AIM-120C-7?

Does anyone know?
