Spent an hour on Wed evening at ABZ airport, trying out my new kit (350D and Bigma). Airport was surprisingly busy.
Got some ok shots – pity about the dull skies though.
Bristows 332L turning onto the approach to runway 16
bmi regional ER3 – Inbound from Groningen
BA A320 lining up on runway 16
The Bigma is some lens. Here is an overview of the airport from where I was located.

Excellent shots! The Bigma certainly is a great lens. It took me a good few days of shooting to get used to mine but it’s performing wonderfully now!

Very nice to see the Local Mr Be 🙂
One of these days I’ll return to taking the odd photo at Dyce.

Thanks for the comments Tom. I was up on the hill by Overton Scrappy, the unclassified roard that runs parallel to the main road.
Yes, I know Overton Scrappy.

Great photos. Good to see some from my local airport. Were you on on the main road, near the caravan place?

Already got a battery grip and I did find it made a bit of difference in the way the camera handles. A most worthwhile investment.

Try using a battery grip with the 350. The camera body is quite small with that big lens, the grip will make the camera much easier to use 🙂

Yep I’ve got the 50-500mm lens. Still trying to get used to the weight. Some difference compared with my FZ10 that I used previously.

Nice shots, was it the 500mm lens?
