These were taken from a small dirt track which leads to a crash gate off of the road to Dyce from the airport on the southern perimeter near the 34 final approach/holding point. A very good place indeed for 34 ops. 1 word of caution to anyone visiting the spot, the fence has touch sensors along it, with me merely resting my lens against the fence this set off an alarm in the control room and a nearby cctv cam following my every move, till the airport police came along!! who were absolutely fine with me being there asked me to volunteer (not took) my details to keep as a record of local spotters and vehicles (so they know who is a recognized spotter in the future) and told me touching the fence sets off the alarm, but, was no problem since they knew who i was… so, be careful of setting off the alarm and don’t be surprised if cops/security pay a visit.. all very pleasant though.
Then it was back on the lonesome trail.

They’re fabulous shots Scotty…Aberdeen seems to be the home of the Jungle jets these days.
