The engineless Hunter airframe once in the care of Aberporth ATC is up for disposal. It was re-painted about 20 years ago, but has been stored outside.
It is to be auctioned by UK Surplus, on or about the 20th of July, and has to be off site by the end of the month.
I wonder if any museums still need a Hunter. Given the salty atmosphere on the Pembrokeshire coast, a spot or corrosion is a possibility.

I have heard that Nev Martin is up for bidding for her as a source of spares, but as you mention, Propstrike, she is badly corroded, Staravia anyone (The scrapman cometh!!!)
That reminds me, must post up a new thread on Scrap Aircraft………….More to follow!!
