Although the weather wasn’t too good it looks as though I missed a good show. Not that I’m surprised it was a good show, it always is. I take it the Chinook managed to go away with the same ammount of wheels it had when it arrived then.

Thank you for all the kind comments. Sorry it has taken so long to respond. The arm waving, photography and organisation were all excellent. At this point I should go to another thread I think (anyone know which one?) to say that next outing of WB726 weather permitting should be to the 60th anniversary of the Chipmunk at Leicester on 20th May. Hope some of you can attend as I know that many of you are fans of the type. No empty rear seat on this occasion but I am well aware it is a sin to fly solo!

First post rather than last post, I hope! I may get to grips with this avatar stuff eventually.
Having dipped into this forum as an outsider for the quality of photos, I was sufficiently influenced by Mark 9, 92FIS and daughter to join. I too pay credit to the organisers and helpers of the Abingdon Fayre which I have attended for the past few years. As ever the photos are excellent and I shall continue to enjoy them rather than attempt my own efforts. I think the Chipmunk looks good don’t you?
