Abingdon 2010

Hi all
AACS boss-man,Neil Porter has asked me to post the following on his behalf;-

– to let you know (yes i know its a very early heads up!!) have had confirmation that our 11th annual Charity Airshow / Country Show will be held on Sunday 2nd May at Abingdon, and we are already starting to recieve bookings / enquiries for this!
Lets hope Defence Estates don’t hike up the dreaded airfield licence fee anymore!

Thank you for all the support for the tenth event back on 3rd May, the few issues raised will hopefully be remedied ie: more bogs, and hopeful of another varied line up allround!!

Many have said to me how are we going to top the C17 appearance from this year- easy solution – we’ll gladly re-invite them back with whatever i may find between now and next May (albiet from xmas 12,000 miles away!).

As our website suggests, when we have decided what to give to the Air Ambulance it will be known on the homepage and the DVD produced by Planestv of the show is very good.

Cheers
Colin

We are truly excited to have secured the RNLAF F-16 display for this year’s Abingdon Air & Country Charity Show as, it would appear, are many of you! What we need now though, and this is the obvious bit, is for as many of you as possible to attend the show. We appreciate there is a show ‘up the road’ on the same day and some of you will be going there, that’s wholly understandable. But to those who are as yet undecided about Sunday May 2nd please, please pay us a visit. To the ‘regulars’ we thank you for your continued support, to those that haven’t been to Abingdon before, what a year to make it your first visit! We need to get as many visitors to AA&CS 2010 as we can, we hope you’ll be able to join us. Oh, and bring all your family and friends along too!
