Sorry I didn’t get to meet up with anyone really. I did say hello to a couple but as OAG said – I was very busy arm waving.

Nice to see that someone almost got a photo of my fellow marshaller being blown away by the Chinook. – a surreal feeling apparently.

On behalf of the marshalling team I’d like to personally thank Neil for giving us another year of suberb variety. Cheers! I would have stayed for the party but headed back to Norfolk that evening via Daventry.

Couldnt get there 🙁

Beaten back just north of Half Penny Green by a 1200ft cloudbase which was rapidly lowering to meet the rising ground contours, throw in some rain and it was a 180 deg turn for a retreat and divert into Sleap for tears and tea.

Hope Neil will be ok for another attempt next year!

Nice to see you played it safe mate. There’s always another Abingdon Fayre but replacing you would be more of a problem.
I couldn’t get there although I’ve had the weekend off booked for weeks. The other half knew why I was off this weekend but she still insisted we were going to her sister’s for Sunday dinner. I swear I’ll divorce that woman one of these days if I don’t kill her first.

Neil, Colin and all.

Good to meet so many forumites, although I didn’t read this thread in advance and hence missed the gathering at the Pembroke!

Sorry I didn’t get to meet with Albert, nice piccie of the Luton though!! 😀

See you all next year I hope, if not before!!

I didn’t read the forum about the meet by the Pembroke either! Hung around G-ASML to see if said owner returned for ‘duty picnic under wing’, but no sign. Never mind….a minor offence! 😀 Catch you at Keevil maybe?

I was there. Great show. My 6.0 rating has to go to the Me.108.
Another aeroplane that should get more bookings.

Easiest thing to help cure the que’s to me would be to get at least one of those trailer things in for the gents. The one’s with loads of urinals in, we dont really need a whole loo each! 🙂

Maybe that’s why the P40 was at Headcorn last week….

Pete Kinsey’s former TFC P-40 Warhawk arrived from North Weald; .

When did Pete Kinsey acquire the P40? I spoke to Peter Teichman on Saturday and he never mentioned he’d sold it on so soon….

JCB, 10 yard ditch, a few posts and a big sheet of sacking.

Of course, that would not really do for the ladies. Better plant some bushes for them.

😀 😀
believe it or not…that has been suggested…(or a free shovel with every admission???)
