Here is a shot from Kirkenes Norway shot this January (from inside the terminal building). Believe it is a DH-800 but could be very wrong:eek: Shooting in extreme cold and low light is a tough nut!

Can you hear the difference in sound the two pictures are making?:D
Hehe naa, I’ll be flying a Dash soon so I would hate to get it wrong 😉
Pic No1 is the 100 & Pic No2 is the 300 for sure

I wasn’t sure just what they were and there were two of them there at the same time so they could be two different marks. I’m just glad they were not the ones we jumped from Kirkenes to Oslo in! My wife hates small planes!

Ah, let me rephrase that, the 1st picture is a 100 for sure. The 2nd Dash is the 300

Looks like a Dash 8-300 to me ?
Looks like a Dash 8-100 to me and considering the number they operate of this type, a better bet!:D

Shooting with a Canon 10D with a 75-300 one can get close….but low light!!! I think we had an hour of daylight that day! Here is another from the side more but loong distance and another pic-not that far north at a layover, airbus piccie.

You were close! from the look of the length of the fuselage it’s a Wideroe Dash 8-100. Although I agree the angle is deceptive so it could be a 300, who knows :D.
Very nice shot all the same, does look cold :diablo:.
