This weekend saw an open day at Keiheuvel airfield in Belgium to celebrate 50 years of operation at the field. The weekend was marred by the crash of a dutch Fokker S-11 on saturday. Apparently the pilot and only occupant was severely injured and passed away this sunday.

looked like the engine stopped. pilot made a turn, stalled and hit the ground nose first 🙁
