Hi, I was discussing my love of aviation the other day with my new employer and it was remarked to me that her father,Lord Martonmere ( Mr John Robinson MP from 1931 to 1964) and his wife had their own aircraft – Rapide? and that they were involved in an accident around 1939ish. They were apparently very lucky to escape injury etc and I was wondering if anyone can help me with any further details etc. I would appreciate any details on the aircraft concerned, any place were I may find photographs of same aircraft and any accident details that may be available such as newspaper files etc.
I would be really grateful for any and all assistance in locating this information.
