Here are the results of this year’s ACM programming competition. 1,411 universities from 75 countries competed. As you can see the slavic countries (and especially Russia) dominated, as always. The fact is that slavic people are naturally better at technical things such as programming than anyone else in the world, which is why you see more ingenious designs coming from Russia than anywhere else despite the fact that they’re operating on a much lower budget than many other countries. I am proud to be partly slavic! Slavic power!!

C’mon google ….. thats not fair ….. give the credit where its due.. and its not a secret that many Indians in particular NRI’s and also who are into too much of western stuffs think that Russians are dumb in software and others … and thats pity … and also many Indians have a feeling that softwares wil make India lead the Chinese not knowing the bitter fact that its just a matter of time b4 Chinese too learn english and the software advantage is just gone … so what atleast indian needs to understand is that base has to be there for development and thats – quality hardware else, there wont be any use of software – its like a flesh w/o any structure aka bones …. u’ll just be there where u r!

Is drinking considered a technical thing? what about dancing? Most slavs I know seem particularly adept at either of those.
Why would one particular race be better at programming than another? While you might favor this idea due to your heritage, it’s more realistically due to the rigor of one’s education.

This has relevence to the aviation industry in general because of avionics. People on this forum were saying how Russia’s PAK-FA will never approach anything the west can build because Russians lack the software skills, but this proves that Russians aren’t lacking anything when it comes to software.
