Acoomodation in London

Greetings all,

I am flying into London in August and am looking for not too expensive places to stay.

Basic requirements are cleanliness, safety and location.

Any ideas would be much appreciated. 🙂

regards

Kabir

Stayed overnight here recently for £40, and thought it very good value. Situated in a nice quiet square but only a few minutes walk from the tube and masses of shops and restaurants. Rooms a bit small and basic, but if you want somewhere central from where to explore, and without paying for a lot of amenities you may not use anyway, I reckon it’s just the thing in overpriced London.

I got 40 pounds a night (including breakfast and dinner) by YMCA. Pretty decent I believe it’s fun to stay at the YMCA.

Watch out for those lads dressed as Red Indians and motorcycle police !!!!:diablo:

I’m looking for a place on December 19th, for one night whilst I attend the Ned’s Atomic Dustbin gig at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire…;)
