Had a great day out last Sunday with the Action Stations team at Pent Farm in Kent.
A Hurricane and Spitfire all to ourselves for 6 hours….just really great…Aero’s..low level passes ..a pop in Mustang low pass. Then the flight in formation with HA-C over Dover, and the memorial at Capel le ferne…20 minute airbourne and lots of pics and mid air movie shots.
One moment of heart in mouth when Charlie Brown suddenly appeared in a tight turn and prompt landing in JH-C Spifire with a windmilling prop and a dead stick landing. A low oil pressure reading ended flying for that day, and 20volunteers to push the aeroplane uphill and back to the hanger for further investigations.
Thanks to all for a great day and thoroughly recommended.

a few years ago we listened to Charlie give a talk about flying her (the spit) down to Malta and having to drop in to a small grass french airfield on the way (the reasons escape me know) but your picture reminded me of the way he descibed it
