Can someone help me before I tear my hair out….well whats left of it anyway
I have downloaded “world of ai” installer and successfully added many airlines to my fsx (despite losing all the original fsx flight plans) which makes flying on fsx so much more realistic.
As not all packages for all airlines are available at world of ai i downloaded a Jet2.com 757 and 737 along with flight plans for FS2004. The models stated that they are workable in FSX. I also downloaded Traffic Tools for FSx along with a flight plan converter which changed 2004 plans to FSX.
Ok, I am all set to go…..In order to get this to work (and I stand corrected as I have never donw this before) I picked an airline within the WOAI packages (Spanair) that had quite a small flight plan file.
I added the Jet2 757 model to the aircraft file in fsx and change the cfg file giving it the next repaint.
I then generated the fsx flight plans and copied these to program.
I then made sure that EGNM was on the airport list
Upon starting fsx it could see I had added the plans and began building a database……
NOTHING! Not a sausage has appeared from jet2…..
Could some one advise a better way to do this…..or is this the correct way
and possibly point me in the right direction if I am doing something wrong
Many many thanks
Mark

Hey Mark,
New on this forum but certainly not new to FS and no starnger to AI so see if I can lend a hand!
You seem to be doing the majority of the steps correctly for a manual installation, so will try to figure out where in the process you are.
1. Have you used ttools to compile the txt files into a bgl?
2. If so did you get the green Compiled statement in ttools to say that the plans have been correctly installed?
3. Have you installed the aircraft correctly in FS:
4. Do you have the correct aircraft models?
5. Do they appear in the aircraft selection menu (they may not anyway so not to worry) or do you have any utilitiers that the AI aircraft have installed without errors?
Let me know as much as you can and we will take it form there
