I go to bed much earlier than some here, Linc – creature of habit I guess – I’ve always got up very early for as long as I can remember…..I like the peace of the early morning.:)

But RIP a guy who by all accounts was a top bloke and made (other) people laugh.

R I P -Made my die of laughter.This is where i found the time gap hit home,my teenagers knew of him because of Harry Potter rather than we knew him as Trigger and his broom.

Such sad news. Really liked him in Only fools and horses, the Vicar of Dibley and also Doc Martin amongst other shows.

That’s very sad – I knew him many years ago. Kind, amusing but very political. Not being a fan of that show I know him through his theatre and much other TV work. He was a very talented actor, following in the footsteps of his farther Charles, who was rarely off the screen in the 50s and 60s.
