Maybe a dream will come true.
We plan some kind of honeymoon trip to NZ around Feb next year.
I started to check the flight and it doesn’t that obvious.
The simpliest would be :
BIQ -STN with FR
and
LHR – AKL with ANZ.
Do you have other ideas ?

Sorry to let you down, but what I meant was I’ve already suggested it! :p Me flying EK to AKL! Please! 😀

I think Emirates is about to start a service to AKL, too… Could be a nice option… With a stopover at Dubai ? 😉

BIQ > CDG > ICN > AKL flying with AF and KE would be a Skyteam option
I will check this one. Thanks

You could be even more adventurous and go in the other direction but with EK, and I think it is there A345 to Auckland as well.
You could get to Dubai from LHR or CDG.
Yes, EK to Auckland via DXB is either a 345 (stopover in SYD) or 773 (stopovers in SIN and BNE)

However UA sounds good to me 😀
That sounds good to me, too. If you have a layover in L.A. and the wifey lets you get away for a little bit, let me know and we can go get a beer, or something. 😎
If you get to CDG, LHR, or FRA, your options are endless. No Star Alliance carrier flies to BIQ, however. I just checked on the Star Alliance timetable.

So far , I guess that BIQ-CDG-LAX-AKL sounds the easiest.
Keep posting anyway folks.
I guess thare is an option with CX from LHR-HKG-AKL.

Other possibility: go to FRA -> LH flight to Singapore (744) then ANZ to AKL (767)

Transfering to STN for LHR or reverse could not be simpler.
Get the 727 Stagecoach bus service from the bust station within each of the airports and you get a direct link.
Myself and Matthew Murray took this bus from STN to LHR and back. It takes about 40-50 mins and is comfortable. They even provide large luggage holds so you don’t need to keep your suitcase on your lap.
Thanks for the tip mate.

hmm, not sure how easy transferring STN-LHR is; the ANZ flight goes via LAX, though, so maybe you could use your ‘normal’ BIQ-CDG with AF/CDG-LAX with UA route then join the NZ flight there?
