Can anyone tell me what the cheapest price would be for me to get a flight on a 747? I have only been on a Airtours A320, Eurocypria A32?, Jersey European Bae 146-200, British European Dash 8 and an easyJet 737-300 (four times on the one journey but not hat smae plane!!)

I wanna fly somewhere for the cheapest price i can get for a 747 from a London Airport if possible.

P.S. I have a Airtours A321 model, I hope this will be worth something in future years!!

RE: Advise

Hey, I know someone who last year booked a flight from Manchester to Paris CDG with Air France.

They arrived at the airport to find Air France had suprisingly gone on strike!

They were then told they had been transferred to another airline for the flight to CDG.

It turned out to be a B747-400 of Singapore Airlines! How about that for the best bit of luck in the aeroplane loving world!!! The SQ 744 was making a shedueled stop at CDG en route to none other than Singapore.

So…Try booking a flight to Paris with SINGAPORE AIRLINES!!!

I’m a currency converter on legs – €270.00 is approximately £180.00.

RE: Advise

Being honest, I think you would be better of getting a cheap week trip to somewhere like Thailand or Malaysia with a discount tour company like Eclipse. You can get a return 744 flight and 4nts 4* accomodation from around £440. So not much more.

If not, one of the Eastern US states. Virgin often have cheap late booking flights to Orlando from LGW.

Most of British Airways’ flights to New York are 747s, but you could probably get a cheaper flight elsewhere.

RE: Advise

dunno, New York would have been the obvious answer, but most flights are 777’s, or even 767’s, now…
