Aerial Combat In Cloudy Skies (Instrument Meteorological Condition) : Is it possible

If a modern fighter like the F 18 Super Hornet,Typhoon,Su 35 etc was placed into a situation where they had to engage in aerial combat while in IMC could it be done? In other words can modern day fighter aircraft engage each other in IMC?
