Aerial geology….rock your world?!?

Posted this on a couple of other forums, so forgive me if you’ve read before, but wanted to “trawl” as wide as I could!

What I’d like to know is there anyone out there who is interested geology from the air?? Pilot-geologists or the other way around?!?

Now, what I’m talking about is not necessarily your standard “flightseeing” nor digital surveying either….. more making use of the plane as a “tool” to observe what’s laid out before you.

There are several places where this might work in the UK, including one “world-class” location with half a dozen airfields in striking distance…
