Last week I got to do some flying when me and two friends flew to duxford on wednesday and then flew to Little snoring and also coventry on thursday.
Wendesdays flights were interesting – enroute to duxford we encountered a minor engine issue so we diverted to Fowlmere airfield where we were greeted by a fire engine from duxford and a few spotters that came over after hearing of our intention to divert. After a short time on the ground the issue was resolved and we carried on to Duxford and attended helitech. On our flight back to Cranfield we re-routed abit to fly accross milton keynes and take some pics. We were lucky as the SKY balloon was nearby so we flew around them for abit too.
Thursday was another good flying day. We flew to Little Snoring airfield to pick up my friends dad and flew back to Cranfield. Then we flew up to Coventry so my friend could give a flying school a quote on an aircraft. When flying back to Cranfield we saw the SKY Balloon over Milton Keynes again and so took another pic.
I havent uploaded many pics but will add to this topic when I do.

So far this is the only pic i’ve edited and uploaded from Thursdays flight..

Thankyou kindly guys. I truely appreciate it and i’m glad that you like the difference in my shots. 🙂
The”Eh”Team, Yeah that additional road seems to of helped alot of people and eased congestion too I should imagine.
Oh yeah the airfields full of cars and containers were RAE Bedford (Thurleigh) and RAF Alconbury.
Keith, unfortunately not. It was a very quick stop and turn around before I departed again.

Yes I criss cross the M1 a lot as a trucker sometimes going to Oxford and yes like you say a lot has gone on there. The dual road heading out to the A1 way is a blessing though.
Like the second lot of photos especially the airfields filled with cars and the shots from Coventry and Air atlantiques site….:)
