Just had a copy of this book delivered and I find that about 10 pages are missing.
The pages appear to have had diagrams on them, so may have been removed for “training” purposes.
The book is Aero Engineering Vol II, production pages 401-796 published by Newnes, published 1938?
The missing pages are:
515
516
525
526
529
530
615
616
617
618
Is anyone able to shine any light on what is on the missing pages, or able to scan them for me?

From just a cursory look at the ‘Inspection’ chapter, it mainly deals with the physical inspection methods rather than metallurgy.

Ex Brat its part 2. PM on the way.
John, there appears to be several revisions of the book, so I had difficulty working out what the publication date may have been. No doubt all that information is in the Part 1 of the book.
You are correct pages 515-529 are Experimental Testing of Radial Air-Cooled engines and the 615-618 are Factory Inspection methods.
The factory inspection methods seems to talk about the types of metals used in different parts of an aircraft.

The Vol II part 2 pages 515-529 are Experimental Testing of Radial Air-Cooled engines and the 615-618 are Factory Inspection methods. I have a bound set and a set of part works. My Vol 2 part two goes to page 876.
