Aero Part Identify Board (API-Board)

Hi all !

Since February 2007 I have create a special board to identify aero parts all of types and manufacturer.
We have some specialist on board and need more !
We are looking for photos from your aero parts and would like to show them into the board.

Some very special field was created. You can find here photos of inspection stamps, parts numbers, part with REF.-No., a sorted list of aircrafts (Luftwaffe, Royal Air Force and USAAF) and many more. Here you can also find unknown parts from aircrafts and crash sites.

When you have interesting photos from aircraft parts we will be enjoyed to can find them next in our board !
The API-Board is an international board and should be a source to identify unknown aero parts.
You can write in english or german languages. But most member write here in the international languages english.

When you have a own website, it will be great when you can make a link to this board !

Here is the link to the API-Board: http://www.iphpbb.com/board/fs-81805422nx79380.html

Best regards from Germany

Hi Nils,

I’m afraid not, these cannot be seen because it’s fitted inside the wheel itself out of view.

Nils, the items as shown in the topic on your forum (see above) are retaining brackets for the brake shoes for the Welligton’s main wheels

Hope this helps
