As a specialist in aerobatic teams, I am compiling an archive of DVDs on the world’s aerobatic teams past and present. I am seeking DVDs and videos, which I can transfer to DVD, on any of the lesser-known teams and wonder if anyone is interested in exchanging like material? Whilst I have footage of most of the well-known teams, it is those that have now disbanded I am keen to acquire historical footage of, in DVD, video or even 8mm & 16mm format, as they can all be put on to DVD.
Does anyone have any footage of disbanded or rare aerobatic teams they would like to share?

You do have to be careful with posts like this, copyright law does forbid the sharing of recorded material, even if it’s just for personal use, and many media companies are starting to come down hard on it. They seem to be picking people to prosecute at random!

Many thanks, I already have this in the collection. I have just received a letter from the IAC stating ‘they have no immediate plans to reform the Swallows with PC-9s’.
Interesting!
Perhaps a new name will be chosen for the PC-9M team.

Hi Albert
I have a vast ammount of official and unofficial footage, if you wanted to sort throught it. When I say a VAST ammount, this equates to air show videos and footage taped of the television. Including a DVD of Aerobatic Teams of the World given to me by a Russian Official at Paris last year, Others include Blue Angels, Thunderbirds, the Vikings and many more.Let me know the way you want to go ahead if you need to borrow any of this

There is some footage of the Irish Air Corps ‘Silver Swallows’ display team in action at the RIAT in 1997 (on the official airshow video?), the last year in which the team flew their Fouga Magister jets.
I’m not aware of any official footage (to date) of their new Pilatus PC-9M display team.
