Now Popham’s cleared I thought that I’d again remind everyone of Newark’s next Aeroboot sale, which is part of Cockpitfest 09 on 13 & 14 June 2009.
Advanced booking details are available from here

Sounds as though the Aeroboot bookings are doing well and it seems there’s still the chance to get the pre-booking discount if you see here

Looks set to be a good weekend.
I’ve just been talking to the Shop Manager at Newark who says that they have Aeroboot bookings in for both Saturday and Sunday [so far, more for Saturday, as mentioned earlier in this thread]. She also suggested reminding people that they can get a discount on their Aeroboot fee if they pre-book before June 1st 2009.
I believe that there should be another Cockpitfest update out later today or tomorrow and that that event is also starting to get a nice selection of participants lined up.
It all sounds well worth a visit!

🙂 NG24 2NY
But don’t solely rely on that for the sat nav – the post code relates to most of the former airfield site and some devices get a bit confused close to the site.
Location details are here http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/location.htm

The June Aeroboot is on both days.
Some sellers camp overnight but this has to be pre-arranged with the museum.
From previous years I would observe that the Saturday is busier than the Sunday – I hope that helps!:)
