That’s a really smart looking new livery. Apologies if this has been covered before, but can anyone tell me why new planes coming out of Airbus’s plants have to carry “local” registrations and for how long before they hand them to the purchaser ?
Why don’t they just put the real reg on straight away ? Do they use the same reg’s on a lot of planes or is every new one given it’s own temporary reg ?

It is sharp and appealing but it has that same generic western appearance of every other airline in Europe. Itβs just not Aeroflot, where is the unconventionality of it? Sad really, but that’s progress for you I guess.

1) Surely because the plane still have his “factory” registration (the plane is made in Hamburg)
2) This is an Aeroflot decision to keep the old soviet logo after a poll made with the customers.
