AEROJUMBLES – SHOREHAM & BROOKLANDS

I can now confirm that there will be an Aero/Autojumble at Brooklands Museum on 15 July 2007 and that plans are now well advanced to re-locate the former Shoreham Aeromart, on its usual September date, at an alternative location.
Watch this space…….!
Meanwhile, could I point out that there will not be the usual March Aeromart at Shoreham, despite an incorrect listing in a current aviation journal that states it will be held at Shoreham on 24th March. We dont know how this listing came about, but if you were thinking of attending then please dont as you will have a wasted journey!

But Shoreham wouldn’t be Shoreham without extreme weather! We’ve had it all…floods, hail, wind and even sunburn in March! Anyway….here’s hoping that we get better weather for 15 July at Brooklands! Andy Saunders

I just wanted to take this opportunity to point out again that there is NO Shoreham Aerojumble this March. Some listings decided to show it as happening on 24 March….which it isn’t! (That would not have been our date even if we HAD been running it!!!) So…dont have a wasted journey!

Just as well given the current spell of weather! The last thing I need is another overnight stay in a corner of a freezing Shoreham Airport…brrrr

Just to confirm the Brooklands date is set for 15 July…it will be Aero/Bike/Car jumble combined, but with an “aerojumble village” centred around Concorde, under which will be housed a number of stalls on a first come first served basis. What better umbrella against sun or rain could you find?

Thanks, I ‘ll have a good think about this and see what stuff I can muster together, I suppose buy having a stall you also save on the £8 entrance fee therefore in reality the cheaper outside pitch in theory is only going to be an additional £22 ? Whats the weather forecast going to be on this date???

I have tried to pm you but your mail box is full! Andy Saunders

The listings in the “current aircraft journal” appear to be a bit off the mark. Can anyone confirm the date for the Popham aero/auto jumble and classic car show as may bank holliday rather than April 8 as listed. Good look with the Brooklands jumble hope to be there too.

The Popham Airfield website says May 7th – http://www.popham-airfield.co.uk/Events.htm
