Spotted this interesting item……..

I remember Spencer Flack replaced ‘The Spirit of Ecstasy’ on his Rolls Royce with a ‘gold’ Spitfire.

More common than you would think –

I’ve posted this before but this is my Blenheim car mascot – Actually I think its of a Bristol Type 135 as it has passenger windows

Like to think it was fitted to a car belonging to someone high up at Bristols – perhaps even Lord Rothermere himself! :rolleyes:

Here’s a Supermarine racer I spotted on a 1930’s Riley at the Baxterley Wings and Wheels event last week (not sure precisely which one, i’m guessing the S.6)
