Anyone in need of a pair of these out there?

According to the export C of A issued on 11th October 1930, G-ABHE had 16 x 7 Goodyear Air Wheels. These are bigger than the C3 / C100 wheel. The C2 has solid undercart so the only ‘give’ is in the tyre.
Incidentally the original wheels from G-ABHE were given to the Shuttleworth Collection in 1966.

Standby for thread drift……..!!! Some years back Aeronca C2 G-ABHE was restored to the UK register. Is there any news of the aircraft actually being rebuilt? It would appear that the C2 may have used the same wheels as those of the C3.

We are just in the process of buying C100 ZK-AMW. I presume that the C3 has the same wheels, and if so we would be interested.
