Aeroplane Spotter

I’ve just acquired my Dad’s wartime collection of Aeroplane Spotter from issue 1 in 1941 through to 1948. All fascinating stuff with much conjecture and some interesting snippets – early shots of the Beaufighter omitted side views for secrecy reasons, apparently, and the first shots of the Whirlwind published were while the type was still on a asecret list but as the photos had been published in a German publication AS didn’t see much reason not to publish them!

It occurs to me that there a summary publication could be of interest to many – any thoughts?
