XP345 looks so smart! The paint and stencilling work is nothing short of awesome. If we canget the paint on WR963 looking half as smart as that I’d be a very happy bunny.
Dad ordered several items from the shop, so another visit will be imminent to collect them.

Thank you for the nice comments, I know other members of the museum who are forumites or just like to read the threads so we apppreciate the feedback.

I think the tail rotor of the Gazelle is on show at the FAAM as part of the Falklands War exhibition.

Thanks Andy
The only problem is where running out of room to put things and we have lots of restoration projects and not enough people to work on them, but we’ll get round to them all one day.
Glad you enjoyed your visit’s

Hi Davski
You could be right im not sure myself but someone down at aeroventure will know. Its very probable as the airfeild dated back to world war one.

I think I’m right in stating that Doncaster and Blackpool were the venues for the first ever organised UK airshows…

Hi Guys
Andrewman
The F.6 is owened by a consortium of museum members and as for plans im not sure what they have in mind at the moment.
Davski
The museum site is now the only remaining part of what was RAF Doncaster.

Certainly worth a visit – there’s even Frankie and Benny’s close by for a pizza! Hard to believe that the whole complex was once a historically significant airfield…

Who owns the F6 and what are the plans for it ?
It would be nice to see the F3 and F6 parked together one day 🙂
Not sure how many people on here know but the F6 was swapped for a tractor a while back.
