Dont think we should spend our time copying pprune. We can all look there ourselves.
AEU have new owners. The press release from them over the weekend only makes mention of the AEU operations from Manchester and Gatwick and it could be that a change at LBA was inevitable anyway in due course.

Looking on pprune, it says it could be BMI using an A320, bit boring but at least it would be something.
Im hoping Monarch take on the routes like they do at EDI using an A320.

Just to be clear on the order in which things have happened up at LBA….My Travel the tour operator have found another airline to undercut AEU, which is why AEU have reluctantly had to close down. Don’t get into thinking that AEU have left My Travel in the lurch, it’s quite the opposite.

Been going around for a while, and a shame if true. I really thought AEU could do things for LBA, though if we get another operator operating the same number of flights then that isn’t so bad.

Question is, will we? Seen LOTS of rumours of who might take over, just hope it doesn’t end up with no based charter aircraft next summer!
