Aftermath of Gloster Meteor crash 4th of May 1950 on danish newsreel

During an airshow, a RDAF Meteor mk. IV hit a tree and crashed.

As the aircraft obviously was flying in a very low height, the pilot, Captain-Lieutenant Carlo Friis Sørensen sadly didn´t escape.

RDAF had by then only had Meteors for 7 months.
