AGM-65G2 info

on the cover of this month’s AFM there is a Harrier GR.7 carrying (what is according to the text) a AGM-65 G2 model.
I never heard of this variat before and I noticed it lacks the typical Maverick stabilizers.
Can anyone share more info about this variant? is it used by the USAF and other AFs or only the RAF?
what does it offer compared to the regular -65G?
