AGS oddments wanted

Our project to rebuild a Whitley has been going for six years now. We were gifted a very large supply of rivets last year – in fact they are all still being sorted.

If anyone out there has any old unwanted AGS bits and pieces they do not want (especially if they are not airworthy) we would be able to give them as very good home as we need stacks of them.

Many thanks in advance.

Merry X-mas and a Happy New Year.

AGS is the generic term for aircraft fastners /spares etc and is used throughout the industry, so no its not just british.

Sorry to be pedantic, but AGS (Aircraft General Spares) relates specifically to British designed / manufactured fittings and fasteners.

People may now use the term to refer to any part regardless of origin, but you shouldn’t see AGS installed on non-UK manufactured aircraft.

AGS implies British as far as I’m aware.

Yes Alan – I’m looking for donations really but I’ll get a list together for you.

Cheers

Hi Elliott,

I’ve got tons of AGS “oddments” and want to start shifting some of them.

A list of what you need would be helpfull.

i take it you’re after english stuff , as opposed to NAS, AN etc. and english SP rivets.
