AGS702/14 and /16 ferrules?

Hi all

After some help if possible. I’ve been through my copy of the Brown Bros catalogue re the above items and can’t find anything about them nor from Google. We have a require for 2 off of each of these and they look to be some kind of ferrule around which 5cwt flying control cable is mound and spliced. Has anyone got drawings or specs for these so that we can either get hold of some or make some?

Hi John,

I can find various ferrules and thimbles for making cables up but none of them have AGS No. 702.

Guessed you’d be along. They’re called up on a drawing for the Sutton harness release assembly, I guess there’s not even a reference to just AGS702?

I’ve got various AGS catalogues dating from 1916-1960 and they aren’t listed in any of them. Neither are they listed in a 1941 edition of AP1086 Pt 12 which covers Stores Ref. 28. Sorry!
