I have 4 wheels that were untill a few years ago, in service on a farm trailer,
Can anyone please tell me what they might have been fitted to ?.
They are numbered AH10245 “issue 11”.
Does any one have a use for them, before I put them on evilbay ?, I would prefer to exchange them for pre 1940’s aircraft items, eg- instruments, AGS fittings, aircraft parts or manufacturing drawings for early aircraft fittings etc.

Bob,
If they are a type fitted to the Barracuda, Bluebird Mike might be your man, or at least good for suggestions.
I think all his swap items might be Gnat parts, though!

According to the person I got the wheels from, new tyres were fitted some years ago, as the originals were done for, the originals were smooth, with no tread.

I know of them for their car tyre production, but I wasn’t aware of any aviation tyre production (but that’s not to say they didn’t have any!)
They also made the soles for German army boots 🙂

Their parent company started producing rubber products in Wimpassing, Austria in 1850 and the company name Semperit was introduced in 1906.

Semperit tyres
The tyres are marked- SEMPERIT made in Austria. 10.0//80-12 PRO 8.50-12.
I don’t think these were the original tyres.

Thanks AirMin, hopefully they will find a suitable home.
Mathieu-
I am not sure if the tyres that are fitted, are the originals, however I will have a look & will let you know what details I can see.

Hi,
What is the size of the tire? Possibly this rims were used on the Fokker G.1. But I’ve to check the manual before I know for sure.
Regards,
Mathieu.
