What does this Spitfire look like.Never seen it before and i thought Grace was the only one person who owns a two seat spit.

James

You mean apart from the East Kirby one, Anthony Hodgsons one in wales and the IAC one at Duxford 😮

They did the same for the old man in Huddersfield last weekend (LAncaster and pair) ……he was really chuffed with two overflights on the same day!!

It was the two seater from East Kirby flown by Paul Day, flying from Norwich Airport yesterday.

Well me and the lads could have sworn it was blue, but having looked at shots of the aircraft it could well have been this one.

Shame he didn’t get down a bit so we could get a better look!

Hmmm – certainly a late model, PR blue and D-Day markings. Coupled with the fact certain ex-jag pilots are at BBMF we figured he was paying a return visit.

Must be the RR one then……… still around as of 1400 isf formating with a Yak

Nope, not painted blue I’m afraid, and not late mark. Was a Yak though…..

Could of been Peter Teichman, I am sure the NW boys could confirm if he was out and about today.

Closer but still not blue I’m afraid!

Was it not the Grace Spitfire? Certainly a two seater which has been operating out of NWI all day? Nice distraction at work today 😀

😮 No it wasn’t, correct about a two seater and NWI though, been distracting me from work as well!
