Air 2000

I have heard from a reliable source that Air 2000 – the fanstastic UK Charter and Scheduled Airline is to be rebranded and re-liveried. Similar to the likes of bmi, my travel and jmc nodoubt.

The new image is meant to adorne the newest fleet member, Boeing 757-200 G-OOOZ which is being purchased from the now defunct Royal Airlines of Canada.

I’ll keep you posted as and when..

Cheers,

LGKR

RE: Air 2000

This plane was a regular visitor here in SCQ. When we had seasonal charter flights to England, this was usually the airline and the B757 the one selected. I have travelled on them a lot and I´ll miss the logo. Fortunately I have some nice pics to keep

RE: Air 2000

That’s bad news – Air 2000 has a great livery.

It’s always exciting when this happens though – see if it can top Monarch’s brilliant new livery!

RE: Air 2000

Blue…Pink Flower!!!!! Whats wrong with the current (it is first choice colours-unless they have changed aswell)

The ex Virgin sun A320/1’s were on lease to Virgin from ILFC so it would be concievable for AMM to take those a/c instead…however Virgin may still be under contract with them.???? just a thought.

AMM——-re-think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regards

Ben

RE: Air 2000

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-04-02 AT 08:18 AM (GMT)]Air 2000 aircraft will be repainted over the coming months, under the “First Choice” brand. It will retain the name of Air 2000 but they will adopt the colours from the First Choice Logo, with a pale blue tail with a bright pink flower on the tail. Interiors, product, uniform and tickets will follow.
Personally I can’t see the point of changing the liveries the one they have now looks good and modern though maybe they don’t want to be left out of the new charter airline craze-changing your colours scheme to something even worse than you had before!

RE: Air 2000

I’m not really keen on the present one so I’m looking forward to the new one.

If its anything like the MyTravel then I can’t wait, this has to be the best colour scheme ever!

RE: Air 2000

Arghhhhhhhh – that airline has a brilliant c/s and it hasn’t been long changed – 5 or 6 years??

I hear Air 200 has a few older 752’s stored at Filton, i know they have some on order as replacements, but y not consider the ex Virgin Sun A320’s/1’s which are also stored at filton – just an idea!!
