Air Atlantique Hunter / Website

I looked into http://www.classicflight.com/ today to see if there was any updates and have discovered that they have relaunched their whole webpage, it also appears that after some serious hint dropping they finally list a two seat Hunter amongst their aircraft. Anybody care to say which one? Also a fantastic new addition is a list of all planned flights by their aircraft in the near future (training etc) which I think is something that should be strongly encouraged. I guess Will J is behind the new site but whoever it is well done and good work! 😎

I’ve downloaded Firefox and had a look at the problems, and I’m currently trying to solve the misalignment problems. The problem is, as soon as you fix it in one browser, it goes wrong in the other, but I’ll keep on it!

Hi Tom

I could probably fix it but there’s nothing to say you won’t break it again 😀

Let me know if you need a hand, ATPL exams finish Thursday so have some time on my hands 😎

Excellent website Tom.
Very neat and well presented….a pleasure to surf!
Hopefully once we get WK163’s ageing website updated you could maybe add a link?

Regards
Chris

http://www.fradu-hunters.co.uk/gallerycc.html

Information is a bit out-of-date there I think 😉
After further research XE665 was indeed the last of the three Admiral Barges, the ‘2nd’ statement present on the page is obviously duff info.
I will inform the webmaster of his sin 🙂

Can you enlighten us to this viscious rumour about Classic going to Deenesthorpe A1?

I really would like it if they stay at Baginton.

Ooops, sorry. Great work Tom.

 It’s ok, I’ll let you off this time!!

Thanks for all the kind feedback. I’m far from being a decent web site designer but I hope people find this one a little more friendly and informative than the last.

The aircraft schedule will be kept as up to date as possible, however there are the occasional ‘impulse flights’ and these will probably not make it onto the list so apologies in advance!

The aircraft deplicted in the photo is that of XE665/G-BWGM and currently at Kemble Airfield with Delta Jets after arriving on the 11th November.

WR963 is available for filmwork, WL790 is available for air display!

I’m looking into the firefox problems at the moment.

Cheers,

Tom.

Great new website and I learned about it here first – just been into the old web site last week and just renewed my membership for 2007.

Tis indeed XE665 – the last of the three ‘Admiral Barge’ T.8s 🙂

I think Tom Everitt is the web master DGH, as you say it is looking good and I also like the flightplan page, great idea. Looking at the events list ‘we’ are going to be busy next year!

I know that fella in the Chippie cockpit, on the aerobatics page, from somewhere, as well!
I can really recommend an aerobatic flight, it is great fun! 😀
Cheers, Alan.

They are also after a new Chief Exec, advertised this month in Today’s Pilot, “with business and marketing experience”.

Looks a tidy job. The tabs don’t line up properly in Firefox though.
