Hello All,
Just a quick blatant plug for our next open weekend which will be this weekend August 15th/16th. The plan is that this weekend will see the return to the pleasure flying fleet of the Percival Prentice after a bit of a brake, there will also be a Rapide pleasure flying. The DC6 and Shackelton should be performing engine runs and hopefully DC3 G-AMRA will be doing taxi-rides. There should also be a selection of Chipmunks flying in over the weekend to grace the static line-up. Admission is £5 and access is via the West gate which is situated at the end of Baginton village. Drive upto the security barriers which should open automatically and then follow the road around until you get to the car park at the end, it should then be obvious were we are! Kate’s Cabin will be selling hot food and drinks and we are all currently on the prayer mat for good weather! Hope to see some of you there,

Just to keep you all updated the office have informed me that unfortunately we wont be able to ground run the DC6 now this weekend – still plenty to see and do though!!

Looking forward to this as we have booked a hotel saturday down there and have been invited to get inside twin pin G-APRS to help with my restoration of G-AYFA.:D:D:D:D:D:D
