Hamburg (rpo).

Lauda Air was the “old” Airline from Niki Lauda who are now a part of Austrian.

Fly Niki is the “new” Airline. The Crew and planes are ex-Aero Loyd. Air Berlin and Fly niki are partners

Boeing will be p***ed at this especially after them going to all the bother of painting one of the Air Berlin 73’s into the new Boeing House Colours.

well fly niki have A320/A321. It would be stupid if they buy B737.

Maybe Air Berlin thing: “We want this plane too!” :diablo:

Air Berlin have a fleet of 42 B737NG and fly niki (i think) 10 A320/321. Now they order 70 Airbuse and option for 40 more. I dont think Boeing will ever see in the Future a order from this two airlines

Well, Tom, Lufthansa, Air France, SAS and BA all operate Airbus and Boeing types together with few obvious ill-effects.

Going the same way as Easyjet operating Airbus and Boeing alongside each other.

Will be interesting to see what happens…

Swings and roundabouts, Shamrock.

No doubt Boeing will also land a few big orders as European and Asian airlines start to replace their fleets.

Again im surprised because as beistrich said they alreay operate many 738s including one in dreamliner colours.I wonder how long it will be until we see a LOT Airbus order now.Malev picked Boeings before Hungary entered the EU and I dont know if they have a aircraft oreder coming up.
Actullay to be honest it is a massive blow to Boeing and Airbus are really begining to run away with all the orders.
