Just a quick update as promised, the log of expected visitors on our website www.air-britainflyin.co.uk is now being updated regularly and a fresh update will appear today. A further update will follow on Friday.

Please note that several aircraft from mainland Europe, particularly France are due to arrive in Friday but I do not have their details as no PPR is required for Friday arrivals. (For the pilots reading this intending to join us PPR bookings should be made directly through The Squadron at NW)

We are working with the hangar operators at NW to try to get some of the more interesting aircraft out into the open including the Beech H-18 and Lim-5for photographic opportunities.

I am pleased to note that The de Havilland Aircraft/Mosquito Museum (along with several other organisations) will be exhibiting at the event so please come and see what they have on show.We will also have a Bleriot on show in line with our theme
With the good weather “ordered” I hope we will have varied and interested selection of aircraft at the vent, so please come and join us at the historic and friendly NW

Is anyone from the North West planning to attend? Do you have a spare seat, share expenses? Wings or wheels. Saturday or Sunday.

I shall be there (I have to be I organise it!)

I will post an update next week with more details, but for now I will say that I have had lots of expressions of interest from French aircraft (which is great given the theme) coming to join us, including a group of Wassmer owners.

I hope you will join us at North Weald for the UKs longest running (this is our 30th) fly-in organised by aviation enthusiasts and historians, for enthusiasts and historians.

I’ll be there at least one of the days for sure, depends on weather as to which one really. Might even do both if the whole weekend is nice! I will make sure I’ll come over for a chat too:D

Cheers, Huw:)
