A good day at Coventry, pleasant weather blue sky if you were quick and the DC-6, what do you think?

Some very nice shots there. Nice to see someone actually keeping vintage airliners flying. They deserve to be preserved as well.

I have just posted my shots from the Sunday of the open day weekend. It was one of the best £10 I have ever spent……one to keep an eye out for next year!

I remember seeing ‘SA at Hurn sometime in early 1959 – in use by Eagle at that time.

She was repainted into Eagle colours earlier this year in order to celebrate both APSA’s 50th anniversary and the 40th anniversary of the end of British Eagle.
On November 7th she will recreate the last ever British Eagle schedule from Rotterdam to Heathrow exactly 40 years to the day. This follows a short European tour. More info at www.thedc6.com.

Very nice. Do you know when it got this paintjob, cause not that long ago it received a KLM livery. That must have been a very short lived paintjob.

Beautiful.
No nasty jets in the background, spoiling the time elusion.
