Air Caledonian failed already

Very sad news that Prestwick based Air Caledonian is returning it’s only aircraft, an EMB 110 tomorrow with no replacement planned. The airline only started operations on December 6th but has cancelled so many flights since then on it’s two routes from PIK to Derry and Stornoway.

Started at the wrong time of year with no advertising and a pretty poor management team, the owners, Clasair are rumoured to be near loosing their AOC. Have a friend who used to work for them who said they’re a joke.

Pitty, had they started in the summer and let people know about it the airline could have worked.
