The Australian market is booming for Air Canada to the extent that it has added three additional A340 services a week to the Sydney-Vancouver route to compliment the existing daily services
This represents a capacity increase of 50% and is largley based on the increasing number of Australians now skiing in Canada during the northern winter.
The airline is also carrying a greater proportion of cruise traffic ex Hawaii and also for the same market out of Vancouver in the northern summer period during the peak Alaskan cruise season.
