Air Cdr Colin Cruickshanks AFCS* FRAeS RAF (Ret) – Test Pilot

Colin Cruickshanks, Air Commodore AFC* FRAeS RAF (Ret) (M) took his last flight on 21 July 2014.

Sad to hear of Colin’s last flight. He was a Lightning pilot thena great Cold War Test Pilot and latterly, a volunteer at the BDAC Museum at Old Sarum.

I was honoured to work him when he was test pilot and also when CTP. He was one of two RAF pilots I knew who flew F117A, sadly both are now flying fighters in heavenly skies.
