This has to be the accident that amazes me. Nobody was killed on this Britannia flight from Cardiff to Girona. A man died of a heart attack after staying in Spain but it’s not thought it was related to the crash.

It was bad weather which caused the crash and the 757 skidded 500 metres into a field and literally snapped into 3 pieces… amazing to think nobody was actually killed as a result of the crash.

As morbed as it may seem, I am quite interested in Air Disasters and how they happen etc…

Has anyone read the Air accident Investigation (AAIB) web site? The official CAA crash reports are very interesting.

I have seen a site like this ages ago, may have been the same one only older and different then. The CVR audio files are haunting to say the least. 😮
