Air Displays / Flying Circus's / Air Pageants

Hi All

I am trying to obtain information, mainly of the 1930’s Air Display Pageants &
Flying Circus’s, as well as the joyride companies and individuals.

In particular those other than the ” Cobham ” tours.

The list of names I have are as follows :

Air Pageants Ltd, Aviation Displays, Barker & King,
Berkshire Aviation, British Empire Air Displays,
British Hospitals Air Pageants, C W A Scott’s Flying Display, Campbell Black’s Air Displays, Cathcart Jones Air Circus,
Coronation Air Displays, Crimson Fleet Circus, Dalton’s Air Display, Gates’s Flying Circus, Jubilee Air Displays, National Aviation Displays Ltd, Pauline Gower, Scott’s Flying Circus, Sky Devils Air Circus, SMT, Surrey Flying Services.

Have I missed any out ?

I would like to obtain information where any of these displays took place, or a complete itinerary of a tour.

Are there any know publications or articles, on this subject

From the post war days, some of the flying circus’s began operating again, up to current air displays, now seen at a number of Air Shows.

Are there any names you can remember, of these later companies, such as Cadbury’s Crunchie Flying Circus and of course The Red Arrows.
